B.J. Gets Ready for 42nd Annual World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing

Samsula, Fl (Feb. 4, 2008) B.J. and his crew are getting ready for the 42nd Annual World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing at New Smyrna Speedway from Feb. 8 thru Feb. 16. The World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing is nine days and nights of non-stop working but a chance to race with racers from all over the country on the one-half mile asphalt oval.

Last year B.J. looked to be the Champion for the Super Lates but had some bad luck towards the end of the run and came up 8 points short behind Champion Jeff Scofield. But it was one of B.J.'s best World Series.

Super Lates will run every night except Monday, Feb. 11, when they have the night off for the TBARA Outlaw Winged Sprints. On Thursday, Feb. 14 and Valentine's Day, the Super Lates will run a 50 lap feature followed by the Pete Orr Memorial 100 on Saturday, Feb. 16. Qualifying will begin at 4 p.m. with racing action at 7:30 p.m.

B.J. qualifies 3rd but has to settle for a 31st Place Finish

The 42nd Annual Governor's Cup 200 is over. In spite of the cold night air, 33 Super Lates came to race the annual event with B.J. qualifying third out of the 33 cars. B.J. was running good until he encountered oil pump problems and was forced to pit for the night to save his engine. The car was fast and B.J. had a good shot at winning the race but it was just not to be.

B.J., his family and crew would like to wish all their fans and friends a very Happy Thanksgiving and watch for B.J.'s 2008 schedule to be released soon.

B.J. has had an up and down year for sure but watch for him next year in the All American Challenge, Sunoco Sunbelt Super Late Model Series and the Bright House Challenge.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL

B.J. shakes "Monkey" and Wins at Desoto Super Speedway AACS Race

Bradenton, Fla. (August 18, 2007) It has been awhile since B.J. McLeod has seen Victory Lane, in fact, it has been awhile since B.J. has been able to run a race. With one thing or the other happening spoiling the night for him, Saturday night at Desoto Super Speedway was B.J.'s night.

Qualifying fourth was the lucky number for B.J. as the pill draw was a four putting B.J. on the pole for the 125 lap race.

With a motor given to him by Don Wilson and a setup from Jeff Scofield, B.J. dominated the night leading green to checkered. His first victory in a few years at Desoto Super Speedway.

B.J. and his crew will head to USA International on September 1 for the Third and final leg of the Triple Crown. Hopefully, the "monkey" is gone and B.J. will see Victory Lane at USA.
